Materials
Soft medium (worsted) weight yarn (6 oz/330 yds/170g per skein):
3 skeins white
2 skeins soft blue

• Size H/8/5mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
• Tapestry needle

Gauge
3 ch-3 sps = 2 inches; 3 ch sp rows = 1 inch

Weave in loose ends as work progresses.
Join rounds with a slip stitch unless otherwise stated.

Special Stitch
Cluster (cl): Yo, insert hook in indicated st, yo, draw up a lp, yo, draw through 2 lps on hook, (yo, insert hook in same sp, yo, draw up a lp, yo, draw through 2 lps on hook) 3 times, yo, draw through all 5 lps on hook.

Afghan
Row 1 (RS): With soft blue, ch 198, sc in 2nd ch from hook, [ch 3, sk next 3 chs, sc in next ch] across, turn. (49 ch-3 sps)

Row 2: Ch 4, sc in first ch-3 sp, [ch 3, sc in next ch-3 sp] across to include last ch-3 sp, ch 3, sc in the last sc on row, turn. (50 ch-3 sps)

Row 3: Sl st into the first ch-3 sp, ch 1, sc in same sp, [ch 3, sc in next ch-3 sp] across, turn. (49 ch-3 sps)

Rows 4–7: Rep rows 2 and 3. At the end of row 7 change color to white, turn.
