Our ribbon winners from both classes were recognized at the school board meeting last Tuesday. Every one received a nice Certificate of Achievement. This year’s winners are: Pilar Perello from the Tuesday class) recognized for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place knitting and crocheting; Bobbie Davis two 2nd and a 3rd places; Margaret Lamarre received a 2nd place for her knitted afghan. Margaret participates in the Thursday AM class; Diana Estrello, Tuesday class won a second place for her crochet afghan and a 3rd place for her shawl. Norma Fernandez placed 2nd and Maria Estrada won a 3rd place for her very first knitted project ever, a pair of green baby booties. Annie Mae Soliz who participates every year at the fair won a second place for her gorgeous colorful afghan. Annie is our most experienced fair winner ever. Anita Catalano won a third place for her blue knitted short sleeves sweater and a first place for her Fair Isle needle bag. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF YOU!!!!!
